2012 BMW 3 Series Sedan

This new sports sedan combines comfort, elegance and performance into the ultimate luxury sedan. Drivers can choose from three different lines for the F30: Sport line, Luxury line or Modern line.  Each different trim level offers a variety of exterior colors, wheels, and interior design and upholstery to match the character of the particular line. In addition, the new 2012 BMW 3 Series sedan can be equipped with the innovative full color heads-up display, which displays the most important information directly into the driver’s field of view.

2013 BMW M5

The powerful and sporty 2013 BMW M5 is outfitted with a 4.4-liter V8 engine, which muscles out 560 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque. Also, BMW recently announced that the powerful engine would be complemented with a 6-speed manual transmission for a smooth and fast driving experience.

The 135i, 335i and X6 models are originally equipped with a turbocharged 3-liter six cylinder engine that boasts an impressive 300 horsepower.

With the addition of the power kits, the horsepower increases to 320 horsepower and torque increases to 332 pound-feet for a car with an automatic transmission.  One of the most exciting new features with the power kit is the exhaust burble sound, which occurs during engine-overrun conditions. This exhaust burble ensures that drivers of Woodside luxury cars can make their presence known, as they zip down the street in their newly upgraded BMW vehicles.

The first version of the power kit was originally introduced on the 335i BMW Performance Edition model and it includes performance-optimized engine software.  This power kit is now available for all 135i and 335i models and X6 models produced prior to April 2010.

The second version, which is available for all 135i and 335i models, contains the same performance-optimized engine software found in the first version, but adds an auxiliary water cooler and enhanced radiator fan.  Both these additions help to reduce the high thermal stresses to the engine, which often occurs during extreme driving.

Although BMW drivers always want more power, BMW is also conscious about our vehicles’ impact on the environment.  A power kit addition to your current 135i, 335i or X6 car will not affect the vehicle’s original emission certification or the vehicle’s original fuel efficiency ratings.

The 2011 Z4 roadster is a combination of the 2009 Z4 model and the Z3 model, with a long front end and an automatic retractable hard-top convertible.  The Z4 is not just a good-looking car on the outside—its comfortable interior is also stylish with metallic and leather trim.  On the dashboard, there is an optional navigation system, electric parking brake and iDrive controller.

The 2011 BMW Z4 features the newest sDrive35is powertrain model.  This turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine boasts 355 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque.  If you have a need for speed, this zippy powertrain is perfect as it dashes from zero to 60 miles per hour in a mere 4.7 seconds, topping out at 155 miles per hour.

The Z4 will also be offered with six-cylinder engines that have the sDrive30i and the sDrive35i models. The sDrive35i model is the only powertrain model which offers a seven-speed dual clutch unit and paddle shifters mounted on the steering column.  The dual-clutch gearbox provides drivers with the choice between an automatic shift mode or manual mode.  The other powertrain models are offered in both six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmissions.

Although the Z4’s quick and precise handling is on best display when driving the zany twists and turns on country roads, the Z4’s smooth ride is also perfect for a relaxing drive.

There are also multiple options available to be added to the standard Z4 model, including satellite radio, a USB port and Bluetooth and smartphone integration.  The navigation system, which includes iDrive, is also an elective feature on the 2011 BMW Z4.

Most of us have been in the situation where we are in a hurry and suddenly we get back to the car and realize that the keys are sitting right there inside the car on the seat.  With BMW Remote Services the driver can call the BMW Call Center, which can remotely unlock or lock the vehicle after the driver’s identity is verified.

When in doubt, Google it

The BMW Online feature allows the driver to perform Google searches on the vehicle’s touchscreen and the results can easily be transferred to the navigation system or the driver’s mobile phone.  For example, a driver can search for the closest theatres and then transfer the address to the navigation system or transfer the theatre’s phone number to the driver’s phone so he or she can call and reserve tickets.

The Future of the Check Engine Light

BMW recently launched the EVolve app, which simulates the ownership of an electric vehicle and provides drivers with the unique opportunity to determine whether an electric vehicle could fulfill their driving needs in the future.  Using this app, drivers of Woodside luxury cars can see the advantages and challenges associated with owning an electric vehicle.  The app is available for free on iTunes and will be made compatible for Android phones within the next month.

The app simulates an electric vehicle with a maximum range of 100 miles when fully charged and its simple interface allows you to start the app when you begin driving each day.  You also have the option to pause their commute by selecting “Park your EV” or the option to replenish the battery by pressing “Get Charged.”

While driving, the app uses the GPS in your phone to determine your position and the miles you have traveled.  The fully charged battery slowly decreases as you continue your commute to simulate the battery range in a BMW electric vehicle.  The app also tracks all of the driving statistics about distance traveled, time spent driving and time spent charging each day and provides a list at the end of each trip for you to better evaluate if an electric vehicle would fit your driving needs.

On the BMW Activate the Future website, the EV dashboard can be used in combination with the EVolve app and can help drivers of Woodside luxury cars compute possible fuel savings if they were to purchase an electric vehicle in the future.  The EV dashboard also illustrates the driver’s impact on the environment in a gas-powered vehicle compared with an electric vehicle.

BMW X3

The 2011 BMW X3 is the first automobile model featured in the video and it has been redesigned to allow for more interior space to comfortably seat five occupants.  Also, for the first time ever, the X3 can be purchased with an 8-speed automatic transmission.  The X3 is equipped with X-Drive, which is BMW’s intelligent all-wheel drive system, designed to send power to the wheels with the surest footing to ensure a smooth and safe ride regardless of weather conditions.

BMW 5-Series

The next BMW models introduced are the popular 2011 5-series luxury sedans.  The three 5-series models, 528i, 535i and 550i, all have options for automatic climate control and the night vision safety feature.  These luxury models will be available with BMW X-Drive, the all-wheel drive system, by the end of 2011.

BMW 6-Series convertible

The last BMW featured in the clip is the stylish and powerful 2012 BMW 6-series convertible 650i, which will be released in the United States later this year.  This third-generation BMW 6-series convertible boasts 400 horsepower and sprints from 0-60 mph in a mere 4.9 seconds.  The BMW 650i will be available with an 8-speed sport automatic gearbox or a manual 6-speed transmission option.

In Woodside, luxury cars have traditionally been of heavy stock, made from steel and sheet metal and containing a gigantic, heavy gas engine in the belly of the vehicle. What BMW is planning, however, is an all-electric car (nicknamed “Project i”) that substitutes carbon fiber for the heavier metals cars are currently made of. Dependence on foreign oil will be all but forgotten very soon, and instead we’ll be driving around our clean vehicles. For the half of us that live in those big cities, we may even start to see the stars at night. Can you imagine a world where that’s possible? BMW sure can, and they’re bringing that dream to you in only a short number of years.
