Welcoming the F30 to the BMW 3 Series Family
BMW recently unveiled the 2012 BMW 3 Series F30 sedan, which launched BMW drivers and enthusiasts into a buzz about the newest addition to BMW’s lineup. BMW’s F30 sedan will likely enter the U.S. market on February 12, 2012. San Carlos 3 Series drivers know that BMW’s luxury mid-size sedans are known for their performance, sports-car handling and luxurious interiors; and the BMW F30 fits right in with the rest of the well-loved lineup.
The BMW F30 will be available in three different equipment lines, including Sport Line, Luxury Line and Modern Line. The three different lines are intended to provide San Carlos 3 Series drivers with the ability to customize their car to match their personality and preferences.
The Sport Line looks like a true sports car and is outfitted with high-gloss black exterior features, a contrasting black and red interior and standard sport seats. The Luxury Line’s elegance is illustrated in its chrome and high-gloss wood strips accenting its comfortable interior. The BMW 3 Series sedan in the Modern Line features satinated aluminum trim and optional leather upholstery, which adds to the car’s contemporary flare.
With increased interior space, the 2012 BMW 3 Series will set itself apart from the previous models. The BMW F30 has slightly increased exterior dimensions, but rear passengers will notice the larger interior, which translates into more knee space and headroom in the backseat.
BMW continues its commitment to green technology in the new 3 Series, including the BMW EfficientDynamics system, automatic start-stop function, and brake regeneration system. The new Driver Experience control provides drivers with the opportunity to choose from sporty, ultra-sport, comfortable and extremely economical driving modes. All of the environmentally friendly features combine to significantly reduce fuel consumption in the 2012 BMW 3 Series models.
